Liseter

2016

Liseter is a community of beautiful single-family and carriage homes located in Newtown Square, set on the former DuPont horse farm property. Liseter offers a number of unique floor plans, including the Merion, Devon, Villanova, St. Davids (I and II), Bryn Mawr and Newtown Collection homes. The Rouse Group Development Company, L.P. developed the land and received approvals for the homes and the 50-acre nature preserve. The property was sold to Toll Brothers in 2014, but The Rouse Group Development Company, L.P. is required to stay involved for 5 years. The Toll Brothers will be building 449 homes.

Inniscrone

2016

Inniscrone is a housing development and a 6,900 yard, 18-hole golf course located on 567 acres of land in Avondale, PA. The Inniscrone Golf Club course, a top ten public course in Pennsylvania, was routed by John Rouse. The Rouse Group Development Company L.P. also built the sewer treatment plant and planned and developed the 500 homes in the community.

Ontelaunee Energy Center

1988—1999

Originally, The Rouse Group Development Company L.P. developed the 557 MW natural gas fired combined cycle merchant power generation facility, located in Ontelaunee Township in Pennsylvania. The Rouse Group Development Company L.P. was responsible for acquiring and developing 20 acres of industrially zoned property. In October 2000, the development process was resumed again by the Calpine Corporation for additional construction. The facility was developed for the MidAtlantic Energy of Delaware, LLC, an oil refinery. On this project, John was a partner and board member.

Route 55 Freeway, Contract 13B

The Route 55 Freeway, Contract 13B is a three mile section of highway completed in 18 months by John M. Rouse, Inc. for the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJ DOT). The freeway was built through the Deptford Township, N.J. The freeway opened in September 1984. Route 55, Contract 13B is over three miles of constructed divided four-lane freeway including two four-lane overhead bridges.
